Teaching Assistant

Are you are a committed, creative and nurturing professional who believes that all children with complex special needs deserve opportunities to make outstanding progress in their learning?

Do you enjoy a vibrant and challenging environment where no two days are the same, working with a dedicated and dynamic team of colleagues who look for creative and responsive solutions to sometimes complex issues?

We are looking for a teaching assistant to work with our class teachers at our trauma informed; therapeutic, primary special needs school for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, serving a large area of Hampshire. We have small class groups who work in a dynamic, child centered way to deliver a bespoke school experience to ensure social and emotional needs are attended to, allowing children to flourish and reach their potential. We offer a residential experience for those children who need an extended curriculum, and the school staff work alongside a dedicated care team.

We can support your development through our multi-professional team and offer you experiences to specialise and develop your practice.

Visits to the school are very welcome and actively encouraged. Please contact the school office on 01264 362350 or by email at to arrange an appointment.  The application form can be found at the top of this page.
